I've been thinking lately, do you think we really need all those subforums in the Pokemon Games forum and the Video Games forum (one for each generation and one for each gaming company respectively)? I was thinking we could just dump everything into the base forum. I don't see these subforums as being really all that useful right now, but I could easily bring them back later if things get too confusing. I'm just thinking we don't need them right now since there aren't a lot of new posts in these boards lately, and they're just taking up space.

Now that PA is back to normal, I think now is a good time to implement this. ZetaBoards now (apparently a while ago) comes with a ShoutBox. I decided to wait a little bit so I don't bump down the other news post right away, but some of you have already found it.

At the moment, it will show up at the bottom of the forum index. It seems the only other place I can put it is on the portal, either way, it's sorta limited. I might see if I can't get it to show up on the bottom of every forum page, but I'm not sure I can. Of course, if this is fine the way it is, then never mind.

Another great thing to add; this ShoutBox shall be guest free (I'm making it so you need to have at least 1 post to use it also)! No more spam (unless one of the members does it anyway, but still, don't do that)! So, like, enjoy and stuff!

Yikes! All that stuff about the whole Virus thing was pretty scary. Not to mention that whole Mr. Ghost taking over thing. I bet it was rough. I have to wonder where Mr. Ghost went though. I thought maybe he'd be excited to see PA back to normal, but he seems to have vanished. Who knows... That guy is always coming and going...

I suppose I am a little hurt that it took you guys almost 3 months to get me out of that cage though...


Whatever. That's in the past! I suppose I should fulfill my promise of rewards and stuff! If I missed someone, and you think you've earned something that I didn't list here, please speak up, cause it was kinda hard to keep track of it all.

I should also remind you that Mr. Ghost at least did some good things and added that Arcade back. I would have gotten around to it myself if I weren't stuck in a cage, but whatever...

As you may, or may not, have noticed, the chat has suddenly been overrun with what I assume is some sort of bot spammers...

As such, I'm going to have to find a way to make it so only members can see it. I would very much like to keep it where it's at, but I have not found a way to block guests from seeing it that works (trust me, I've tried).

I realize this place is pretty dead, again, and not many people seemed to use it much.


It can still be accessed from meebo's website if you search for PA Chat. It is currently password locked (the password is "ghost"), but still usable if you want. I'm still encouraging people to do this. It's a lot easier to keep track of there on a separate page.

In case you haven't explored the Vault yet (go do it sometime), I occasionally put prizes in there, such as badges and awards. All you have to do is figure out the password from the clue given.

Well, in an effort to keep it rather active, I'm introducing Member Treasure Balls. As it implies, these will be Treasure Balls that have passwords and clues submitted by members. If you have some ideas, feel free to send me a PM about it. Prizes will still be chosen by me (based on difficulty, or something).

Also, because coming up with a bunch of these is hard... >.>

Anyway, once I use your password, you may get some prizes based on how long it stays up there without being broken into. This is so people will not want to tell people what the password is, thus ruining the fun. The name of the user who submitted the password will also not be revealed until all prizes in the Treasure Ball are taken. This way the person will not be badgered for the password either. I would suggest not telling anyone if you know your password is being used. Obviously, if it's your password, you can't get any prizes in that Treasure Ball.

As for prizes for the submitter, every week that passes gets you one Password Badge. If it lasts a month, you will also get a Password Award
