Celebi is the protector of the forest, and no you cannot catch it, not in any game.  You can with a cheat however, but I don't use cheats.  I find them a cheap way to exploit the game.  Anyway, neither Celebi, nor Mew can be found in any Pokemon game w/o cheats.  They are the only two that you cannot achieve without cheats though.

*topic bump* I would say that  with cheats you can do anything that you want. I can catch a mising number buy if i catch it or attack it I will screw up my game.

Heh, yeah. I only played my red version for the glitches, but now I actually have to play it to get back to where I can do all the glitches again. XD
