If you're thinking of joining, I feel the need to note that this is a discussion forum, and not some kind of online Pokemon game (as awesome as that would be). We get tons of members getting this confused, and we certainly wouldn't want to waste your time if this place isn't what you were looking for.

You might also find that the activity level is rather low around here. This is mostly due to lack of new members that stick around. I'm sure if we had a few more, all the many members would eventually come out of hiding. Why not sign up and stay for a while. Who knows? You may be surprised.

Not long ago, the legendaries that were asleep have finally awoken. Those that were awake have no become mysteriously and increasingly hostile. Wild pokemon attacks have become more and more frequent. The superstitious believe it's a sign the end is coming. Luckily, several trainers...from newbies to elites...have banded together to fix the problem and defend the nations. They have decided to seal away the lengendaries and what's causing the problem. And with Team Galactic only causing more trouble...no one is sure what will happen. Could a group of trainers sway the fate of the world? Or will everything end? And that is what this RP is based on. Here is the form. Hopefully, I can get a few people to join. You can have three pokemon to start out with. The starting point for everyone is Slateport, so keep that in mind. OC's only... Name: (your characters name) Age: Starting Pokemon: (any non-legendary basic Pokemon, including babies) Personality: (what your character acts like) Appearance: (what your character looks like) Inventory: (Items, eggs, etc.) And my own character: Name: Quint (No last name known) Age: 22 Pokemon: Alakazam, Granbull, Muk, Hitmontop, Shedinja, Murkrow Personality: Gruff, seems to be greedy, keeps to himself. Appearance: Wears Team Rocket duds. Brown hair, purple eyes. Wears a pair of sunglasses. His suit lacks the "R" icon and is decorated with a few medals. Bio: Quint's a trainer who never doesn't say much. He was previously a major in Team Rocket and is currently in charge of some of the remnants. But they turned tail and ran when they thought the world was near it's end. Now he hangs around the diner in Slateport, moping about. Posts: 441 Group: Great Member Member #5,838 Joined: December 28, 2008	Name: Shun Tomoko (one of aiki's big sis) Age: 17 Starting Pokemon: Gengar (her first pokemon),misdraevus and an egg Personality: one word, a tomboy, she acts, thinks and practically speaks like a boy, dare call her weak and she's in a fist fight with you. Appearance: older version of Aiki, wears boy's clothes, has long brown waist-length hair, dark brown eyes and a naughty grin every time she's up to something. Inventory: One notebook, pokédex, pokéballs and a sketchbook + the egg.

We begin NOW. ---------------------------------------- The sun was setting in the somewhat abandoned area known only as Slateport. Not many people were around...many actually moved out. The area known as the market was nearly empty now, many crates tipped to the side. Almost all the restaurants were closed. The Pokemon Center was the only inn open and the Pokemart had received less and less business. The shipyards were empty, besides Captain Stern's noble crew who remained with him..the contest hall was utterly deserted as well. The lights of the houses were out, the doors locked, windows shut tight. Few inhabitants were actually in their home... For in the past month, a terrible fate began. The legendaries across the continents have awakened and were now preparing to duel each other...a duel that would sway the fate of the world. All over, the effects were shown. One side of Hoenn was rumored to be experiencing a drought; the side Groudon was journeying across. The other was receiving heavy rains and flooding, the side Kyogre was ravaging. Mewtwo and Mew were already supposedly engaged in a duel. The forest where Celebi was previously located was starting to slowly die. Near Hoenn, the Orange Isles were in danger as the birds had awakened, causing trouble amongst each other. Ho-oh sightings became more and more frequent as compared to the rarity of how it used to be. Ancient ruins were broken open, rumored to be the old holding places of the Regi trio. Natural disasters were occurring all over the world. The Elite four's and champions and trainers all over disbanded to find the cause and put an end to it. So what did this mean? Everyone was staring in the face of an apocalyptic scenario. In one of the few diners still open, a man wearing a black uniform and hat sat at a table, no one else besides the manager, a cook, and a waitress were around. He was drinking a cup of coffee. His name was Nicholas Quint. And he was the sole Team Rocket member in the Hoenn Region. He was the leader of a group of remnants from the original days. He was ranked as a Captain in the leagues and lead the group to Hoenn where he promised "riches await!" Upon arriving, they set up a base of operations in a mountain alcove. The cave like based was installed with machinery and was fully operational. But all the members left when they heard what was happening a month ago. Leaving Quint on his own. The Captain then went down to Slateport, where he would stay. When he needed money, he'd compete in a contest or battle for money. He had become known as a renowned, somewhat elite, trainer in Slateport...of course, he now just sat there, drinking his coffee, unsure what to do.. Posts: 441 Group: Great Member Member #5,838 Joined: December 28, 2008	Loudly a tomboyish girl entered the dinner, "WHAT THE HELLS THERE PROBLEM?COWARDS!!", she yelled, out of the door, obviously directing it, towards the group of tuff and rough bickers, who cycled as fast as possible away from her. "Morons, I only had to battle them with gengar and they got defeated so easilly...bigmouths, so dissapointing, and they wasted my time too!" "GENGAR!", gengar agreed angrilly, She sat aggresivly in one of the chairs and still angered, commanded, "FOOD NOW!" The girl at the bar, nodded a bit shocked of the agresive tone Shun had. Looking around the bar she noticed that it was practicly empty, untill she set her eyes on the team rocket guy, "Hey you!Whats up with the uniform?I though those cowards left aswell?"

"What's it to you?" He asks in a rough and resigned tone. He pushes up his sunglasses and sips his coffee. A Murkrow flies in through a window and lands on his shoulder, perched carefully. "If you have something to say, go on and say it."

Posts: 441 Group: Great Member Member #5,838 Joined: December 28, 2008	If there's one thing,nobody should do with Shun,was provoke her, when she's angry, "Whats it with me?WELL ISN'T IT OBVIOUS!?I've been one of thos pesky trainers who had been chasing you guys down for practicly 2 years, because one miserable coacroach had the guts to steal my Haunter!And your asking me whats wrong?Let me rephrase what my problem is...", her eyes glared in a demonic way, "I waisted 2 fricking years hunting them down and wasting my time on idiots,for what?discovering that their nothing more than a bunch of WEAK FILTHY COWARDS!!" An inch closer and she would've grabbed the stranger by the neck, but instead, someone put, with a loud sound, a glass of fruit juice in front of her. "Here, your favourite,it'll calm your spirits down." Despites of Shun wanting to retorque with a nasty snarl, she drank the juice and sat back in her chair.

When Shun finished her speech, he finally spoke with an icy tone. "So you're holding a grudge on Team Rocket for something two years ago. Something we honestly do not care about. For you, it was a life changing event. For us, it was another Tuesday, another job." He sips his coffee before continuing. "Cool it, girl. I was a major, an admin. Messing with children like you isn't my style. Specifically when the legendaries are having it out across the world." He finishes his coffee before finishing. "I am the last of Team Rocket in Hoenn. All others have fled. You're wasting your time here."

"Im...reallyy.....gonna...END UP an KIll you!", she drank her glass empty and continued, "If it wasn't for team rocket constantly waking up those legendary pokemon and poking them in their sleep, they wouldn've been, so easy to anger, to wathever ruckus caused them to piss them off!!All I know team rocket owes a debt to the people!"

Quint replies. "If you want to blame anyone, blame humanity as a whole. Blame the trainers who sought to catch the massive Pokemon. Blame yourself for picking fights with those you do not fully understand." Quint finally looks at her, his sunglasses reflecting her image. "Now, you need to go home. Like I've said, you're doing nothing but wasting your time." He returns to reading the newspaper sullenly.

Agresivly, Shun stood up and dropped her chair allong the way,right at the moment, the bartender came with her plate of food. "H-hey!W-wait your food!" Shun snarled before slamming the door behind her, "I'M NOT HUNGRY ANYMORE!!" "... ...but who's gonna pay?" Outside Shun couldn't help but continue her tantrum, loudly, "We didn't do anything blabla, just mewtwo yadeyadeya, but oh,I forgot to mention, MEWTWO IS IN ONE OF THE FRICKING FIGTHS ASWELL!!GRAAAHH,I hate that guy!!I'm an admin,WHOCARES?" "You've been kind to me for the past month..I figure you deserve a bit more than I give you anyways." Quint says, handing the cash to the bartender. "I'm heading out. I heard Kyogre's not that far away from here now and there'll be a heck of a storm. I want to be over in the inn before it hits..." He says, the Murkrow cawing gently.

Posts: 441 Group: Great Member Member #5,838 Joined: December 28, 2008	Still pissed off, Shun walked hurriedly to the pokemoncenter, to heal her pokemons, she used in battle with the bickers. -I might aswell ask, about the rumors going about, rayquaza is said to be defending it's tower, the so called 'hidden tower', but what about the others, I think I can calm down one legy at a time, but I doubt I can calm them all down,besides that where are the champions of to anyway, should they be helping?- Entering the center, she gave her pokemons to heal and waiting as patient as possible,she though of a battle plan. -mew, mewto, the three dogs, the three birds, ho-oh, lugia, the two dimension-time, giratina, celebi,even arceus...kyogre,groudon and rayquaza, they're way to much!I already know where rayquaza is and there are allready some trainers here and there trying to calm mew, celebi and the three birds down, but there is still way to much legy's left!-

Windows and doors boarded up, the market empty of its once well known goods, paper littered the ground, lights were out, storm clouds were gathered. The only places still open were the Pokecenter, which serves as an inn as well, and the Pokestore, still lit up but otherwise quiet. The shipyard was closed up as well as the museum, perhaps to keep the incoming rain out. Quint continued walking, his boots clomping on the stone ground. He finally reached the sliding doors of the center. He waved to the Nurse Joy whom he knew very well now. The place was empty aside from Joy, Shun, and Chancy who tottered around quietly. Quint walked up the stairs to the rooms and finally found his own room. "I'll just sleep the rain out.."

She smiled a bit uneasy, "Not much I'm afraid Shun.Here are your pokemons" "Ha thanks,Joy.". putting the pokeballs back into place and letting Gengar out, Shun was about to leave the center, untill Nurse Joy asked, if it wasn't better for her, to wait untill the rain was over. Absentmindly, Shun shook her head and said, "No, not important" untill she stood outside and got the entire contents of a rain cloud on her head in just 2 seconds record time, Entirily wet, she grumbled, "Maybe yes afterall...." Nurse Joy gigled, "I'll show you your room..."

But, of course, he was sure Nurse Joy still had it. He walked back down stairs and approached Joy with a warm smile, not taking notice of Shun. "Hey, Nurse Joy. It's starting to come down in rain, isn't it? Anyways, I'll need my key back..." He muttered. In truth, he liked Nurse Joy a lot. She had been incredibly kind to Quint since he arrived, even cooking for the two of them on occasion. Of course, since Slateport had been all but completely barren, everyone remained good friends with each other. Who knew, it might have been the last friend they'd have before a legendary struck. "You look great today, by the way..."
